Wheel bite?

Wheel bite is when the wheels come in contact with the bottom of the skateboard deck. This may be due to a variety of reasons. If you have significant wheel bite on your board, we recommend you install the Ollee Skate Tracker with the included Ollee Risers!

Be aware that the Ollee Skate Tracker may come in contact with the wheel if you don’t use the Ollee Risers, which can lead to damage of the device. To reduce wheel bite, read the following link.

Driving with your Ollee-enabled skateboard.

To reduce the chance of the Skate Tracker recording while you drive, place your skateboard on its back (wheels up) while it’s in the car.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Nope, the Skate Tracker stores session data on the device until it's synced to the app. It can store around 30 hours worth of session data.

  • The Skate Tracker automatically detects when you start riding. Just pick up your board and skate! To stop a session, either sync with the Skate Tracker using the app, or don't ride your board for 15 minutes.

  • It takes 1 hour for a full charge. The battery lasts for about 18 hours of active ride time. The Skate Tracker can keep charge for weeks between sessions, but the best practice is to charge up between sessions.

  • The skate score is based on how long you skate, how much of the session you were actually riding, how much activity was detected during the session, how many tricks you attempted, and how many you landed. The longer you ride, the more tricks you land, and the more effort you put in, the higher your score will be!

  • Based on our testing and everyday users, the Ollee Skate Tracker is accurate. Trick detection works best on smoother terrain, and trick type detection works best on flat ground style tricks.

  • It uses a motion sensor to detect a successful trick. To reduce the ability to “game the system” , the Skate Tracker requires you to be moving while you pop and land your tricks.

  • Try to pair again to the device by going to Settings > Edit Skate Tracker. Check that the Ollee App has all of the permissions enabled in the system settings.

  • With the charger plugged into a USB source, connect and disconnect the charging cable to the Skate Tracker 5 times in a row within 10 seconds. You will see a red LED turn on when it’s in recovery mode. Recovery takes about 30 seconds to complete.

  • You can delete your account directly in the Ollee App > Settings. If you wish to do it outside of the app, submit the request in the form below (Support). Please make sure to provide your Ollee App email. You will receive a confirmation when your account is deleted. Account deletion may take up to 48 hours.
